Shanee Smart heads up operations and strategic initiatives at TCG. Originally from South Africa, she moved to Charlotte, North Carolina in 2018.
Prior to this move she enjoyed an illustrious 20 year career in B2B and B2C media, managing sales teams for luxury consumer magazine brands such as Cosmopolitan, Marie Claire and Good Housekeeping. Subsequent to her exit from corporate media, she became a freelance consultant, focusing her attention on sales training and project management. During this time she launched a successful global digital education venture for the spa industry, Spa Professionals Guild. She remains an equity partner in the business.
Demonstrating both an entrepreneurial and intrapreneurial spirit, Shanee has an innate ability to employ strategies that maximize organizational capabilities, operations, service offerings and staff performance.
